Ostersunds coach Graham Potter confirms talks with Swansea City

Potter confirms Swansea City talks

Ostersunds boss Graham Potter has announced that he is in talks with Swansea City over the vacant manager's job.

The English coach has been in charge of the Swedish club since 2010, during which time he has got them promoted from the fourth tier of Swedish football to the top flight and led them to the Europa League round of 32, beating Arsenal 2-1 in the second leg at the Emirates Stadium.

Potter's impressive record has drawn the attention of Swansea, and the 42-year-old has spoken on reports linking him to the Championship side.

"I have to talk to [Swansea] a little more," Potter told reporters.

"Obviously it's a big challenge to take the club back to the Premier League and give them an identity, so it's clear that it's interesting, but there's still a long way to go."

Carlos Carvalhal departed the Swans earlier this month following their relegation from the Premier League.
