Norwich sign Ryan Bennett from Peterborough

Norwich City have signed full-back Ryan Bennett from Peterborough for a record sale fee for the Championship side.

Bennett had been attracting interest from a number of clubs in January, including Swansea City.

The 21-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Carrow Road after informing Peterborough of his desire to play in the Premier League.

As part of the deal with the Canaries, Bennett will re-join the Posh on loan until February 28.

Bennett signed for Peterborough from Grimsby in 2010.
