Kyle Lafferty heads to Birmingham City

Birmingham City have secured the loan services of Norwich City centre-forward Kyle Lafferty.

The 28-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Northern Ireland, has long been linked with a switch to Leeds United.

However, a move to Elland Road never materialised and instead Lafferty has agreed a temporary stint with Birmingham.

The deal runs until the end of May, although Norwich have the option of recalling the striker after 28 days.

Lafferty has made just three appearances for the Canaries this season, one of which came in the Premier League.
