Wembley, Munich to host Euro 2020 final

Either Wembley or the Allianz Arena will host the final of the 2020 European Championships.

UEFA made the announcement this morning following confirmation that only London and Munich had submitted bids for the semi-final and final package.

The UEFA administration will now consider each dossier, with the final decision being made in September.

Overall, a total of 19 cities made applications to host matches throughout the course of the tournament, which will be spread over 13 countries.

Those that made bids are: Azerbaijan/Baku, Belarus/Minsk, Belgium/Brussels, Bulgaria/Sofia, Denmark/Copenhagen, England/London, FYROM/Skopje, Germany/Munich, Hungary/Budapest, Israel/Jerusalem, Italy/Rome, Netherlands/Amsterdam, Republic of Ireland/Dublin, Romania/Bucharest, Russia/Saint Petersburg, Scotland/Glasgow, Spain/Bilbao, Sweden/Stockholm, Wales/Cardiff.
