The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright joins Thurrock

One of the stars of The Only Way Is Essex has joined Blue Square Bet South side Thurrock.

Mark Wright, who reportedly plays as a defender, has joined a club that sit second from bottom in the division with a goal difference of minus 20 after 13 matches.

The club have confirmed that Wright will be in the squad for tomorrow's local derby with Dartford.

In a stop-start footballing career, 24-year-old Wright has also made appearances for Lewes, Crawley and Rushden & Diamonds.
