FC Sion have reacted angrily to FIFA's decision to dock them 36 points for fielding ineligible players.
The Swiss club are alleged to have fielded the players during their Europa League match against Celtic in September.
The Swiss Football Association deducted the points following FIFA's threat to ban all Swiss teams from European competition.
"FC Sion have read the decision of the Central Committee of the Swiss Football Association to bow down to FIFA blackmail and collaborate in the injustice faced by the club, by dictating the removal of 36 points in the Super League," read a club statement.
"This process will condemn the club virtually hopelessly to relegation."
Sion have denied any wrongdoing and refused to comment further on the verdict.
