Luke McCormick prepares to make comeback at Truro City

McCormick to make comeback

Luke McCormick is to play in his first match since May 2008 after signing for Truro City.

The goalkeeper was jailed in October 2008 after admitting to causing the deaths of two children by crashing his car while drink-driving.

He was released from his contract at Plymouth Argyle following the incident.

The 29-year-old was released from prison earlier this year.

Truro City were left in need of a keeper as regular Tim Sandercombe picked up an injury last week.

He will make his debut for the Blue Square Bet South side in the FA Trophy this afternoon.
