Paul Ince could be on the verge of making a return to management, according to his representative Chris Nathaniel.
Three clubs are rumoured to be looking at Ince as their next boss, with League One's Rochdale and Stevenage as well as League Two's Bristol Rovers all interested.
Ince, 44, has been out of football since leaving Notts County last season following a club record nine defeats in a row.
"Three clubs have made contact with us," Nathaniel told Sky Sports News.
"There is not much more we can say out of respect to those involved, other than that Paul is now considering his options and is obviously flattered by the interest."
Ince became the first black manager in England's top division when he took over at Blackburn Rovers in 2008.
