Frank Arnesen becomes Hamburg coach

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea sporting director Frank Arnesen has become the new coach of German club SV Hamburg on a temporary basis.

The 55-year-old will combine the job with his director's role at the Imtech Arena.

"I'll do the job until the coach who is best for Hamburg is there," the Dutchman told a press conference.

Rothosen have been without a coach since the club took the decision to sack Michael Oenning last month following a poor run of results in the Bundesliga.
