Paul Dickov hoping to extend loan deals

Dickov keen to keep loanees

Oldham manager Paul Dickov is hoping to keep all of his loan stars until the end of the season.

Dickov currently has five loanees at Boundary Park and they have all made key contributions in recent weeks.

Manchester City forward Luca Scapuzzi set up Norwich midfielder Tom Adeyemi for the opening goal in the Canaries' 2-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern section semi-final victory over Bradford. Scapuzzi's teammate at City Andreas Mancini has already seen his loan extended by a month.

"All the loan players, we're hoping to extend in January and keep them here until the end of the season," said Dickov.

"We made a decision in the summer, I've got to thank the chairman for it, and we want to keep the whole squad together for the whole season."

Oldham currently sit 12th in League One.
