Di Canio given improper conduct charge

Swindon Town manager Paolo Di Canio has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association.

The Italian has been given the charge for his over-zealous celebration during his side's 2-1 win at Northampton Town on New Year's Eve.

The 43-year-old ran onto the pitch to celebrate with his players after Alan McCormack's injury-time winner.

Di Canio has until 4pm on Monday to respond.
