David Moyes wants new job straight away following Real Sociedad axe

David Moyes ready for next 'opportunity'

David Moyes has claimed that he has no plans to take a break before embarking on a new challenge following his departure from Real Sociedad.

The Scotsman was appointed Sociedad boss in November 2014, but was sacked one year later following a string of disappointing results in La Liga.

Moyes had some time away from the game after he was sacked by Manchester United after just 10 months, but this time he is determined to jump back into football.

The former Everton manager, who was linked to West Ham United, Sunderland and Aston Villa, recently revealed that he turned down a number of jobs during his time at Sociedad.

"I don't feel I need a holiday," Moyes told the Daily Mail. "Some really good Premier League clubs came in for me and there are some opportunities to go abroad again. I just need a challenge that excites me - here or in another country."

Moyes was in charge of Everton for 11 years.
