Court appearance for man charged with killing Wales fan

Ian Mytton, the man accused of killing Michael Dye outside Wembley Stadium last week, appeared in court earlier today.

The 41-year-old was not required to enter a plea to the charge of manslaughter before being remanded in custody by magistrates in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Mytton spoke only to confirm his personal details during the hearing and has been ordered to reappear at Worcester Crown Court on Tuesday, September 20.

Mr Dye, a 44-year-old Cardiff City fan, died from head injuries.

The Metropolitan Police have also revealed that three other men that were arrested in connection with the death have been released on police bail.
