Newcastle United prepare Kurt Zouma bid?

Newcastle United are interested in bringing Saint-Etienne defender Kurt Zouma to St James' Park, according to reports.

Zouma is attracting attention from a number of European clubs, with Chelsea reported to be the favourites to sign the 18-year-old.

However, according to the Shields Gazette, Newcastle want to sign the French Under-20 international if they can agree a fee with the French club.

The Magpies have also been linked with a move for Zouma's Saint-Etienne teammate, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
