Newcastle United, Fulham target Raul?

Newcastle United and Fulham will reportedly both make an attempt to sign Schalke striker Raul at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old will depart Germany in the summer after failing to agree a new contract, and he is expected to move to Qatar in search of a new challenge.

However, reports in Spain have suggested that the Premier League pair have approached the Spaniard's representatives in regard to a possible switch to the Premier League.

Raul scored 40 goals in 98 games during his two years in Germany.
