Jamaal Lascelles: Newcastle United must "come back stronger"

Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles has encouraged the club to "come back stronger" from their relegation to the Championship.

The Magpies were demoted this evening courtesy of Sunderland's 3-0 win over Everton.

However, centre-back Lascelles was in defiant mood on Twitter.

Absolutely gutted! But we have to pick up and start again to come back stronger #NUFC

Lascelles has made 21 appearances in all competitions this season.
