Southampton boss Ronald Koeman not thinking about Netherlands job

Koeman not thinking about Netherlands job

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has insisted that he is not interested in leaving the club to manage the Netherlands.

The Dutchman, who led Southampton to a seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season, has been linked with the job after Holland's poor Euro 2016 qualification campaign, which leaves them at risk of missing out on next summer's tournament in France.

Koeman, who played for the Netherlands 78 times between 1982 and 1994, has reiterated that he is happy at Southampton.

"I'm very settled here, the 52-year-old told Sky Sports News.

"I have a contract with Southampton until the end of next season and what will happen after that, nobody knows. Until that date I'm the coach of Southampton."

Koeman took charge of Southampton in June 2014 after leaving Feyenoord.
