Wesley Sneijder reveals knee problem

Holland midfielder Wesley Sneijder has revealed that he has picked up a knee injury.

The 28-year-old picked is believed to have sustained the problem during his side's Euro 2012 opening defeat to Denmark.

"I have some trouble at the back of my knee," Sneijder told Telegraaf after that loss.

However, the Inter Milan player refused to confirm whether or not the complaint would rule him out of the Holland's next match against Germany on Wednesday evening.

Should he fail to recover in time, it could mean a recall to the starting lineup for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.
