Roda JC, NEC in goalless draw

Roda JC and NEC played out a goalless draw in the Dutch Eredivisie at the Parkstad Limburg Stadion this evening.

The first half was a dull affair with both Benjamin van Leer and Hannes Por Halldorsson staying quiet between the sticks.

Both teams then failed to push each other after the break either, Henk Dijkhuizen and Joey Sleegers coming closest for their respective teams.

The result sees Roda sit in second place, two points behind leaders Ajax, while NEC remain in eighth.
