Nancy required a last-minute wondergoal to overcome Brest at Stade Marcel Picot tonight.

After an uneventful 90 minutes of torturous football, in which neither side had looked likely to break the deadlock, Yohan Mollo lined up a free kick from an ultra-acute angle wide on the left.

To the delight of the home crowd, the former France Under-21 international winger surprised goalkeeper Alexis Thebaux by bending the ball in the bottom left corner with superb precision.

Nancy have now been victorious on each of their last three meetings with Brest.
