Millwall defender Scott Malone set for Cardiff City move

Scott Malone has been given permission by Millwall to discuss a permanent transfer to fellow Championship side Cardiff City.

Millwall said in a statement this afternoon that the 23-year-old left-back "will discuss personal terms and undergo a medical over the coming days" with the Bluebirds.

Since joining the Lions from Bournemouth two-and-a-half years ago, Malone has scored five goals in over 70 appearances.

Millwall appear to be cashing in on Malone while they can, with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
