Neil Harris: 'We played the Millwall way'

Caretaker manager Neil Harris is pleased that his side played 'the Millwall way' despite failing to beat Doncaster Rovers in his first game in temporary charge.

Caretaker manager Neil Harris was delighted that his side played 'the Millwall way' as they drew 0-0 with Doncaster Rovers in his opening game as temporary boss.

Harris and Scott Fitzgerald were in dual charge for the game at the Keepmoat Stadium, which was Millwall's first since the sacking of Steve Lomas as manager.

Although they could not find the net, Harris took positives in the pressing game that his team employed and the club's first clean sheet in seven matches.

"The boys were terrific today, just as they have been since Scott and myself have taken them," he told the club's official website.

"We pressed the ball all over the park and that's the Millwall way. We're very pleased with the clean sheet.

"We have plenty of quality and we created chances going forward. On another day we may have won it."

Millwall host league leaders Leicester City at The Den on New Year's Day.
