Nicky Bailey nearing Millwall return

Millwall have confirmed that midfielder Nicky Bailey is nearing a return to training following a calf injury.

The 30-year-old missed the start of the new season and suffered a recurrence of the problem when he made his comeback against Fulham last month.

Despite spending the majority of the current campaign on the sidelines, Bailey is expected to be back in training in the near future.

Millwall return to Championship action on Saturday when they play Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
