Nottingham Forest 'eyeing former Middlesbrough star Cristhian Stuani'

Nottingham Forest boss Aitor Karanka reportedly eyes a reunion with former Middlesbrough striker Cristhian Stuani.

Nottingham Forest are reportedly mulling over a summer bid for former Middlesbrough striker Cristhian Stuani.

According to The Mirror, Forest manager Aitor Karanka is keen to re-team with the Uruguayan hitman, who currently plays for Girona in Spain.

Stuani impressed in La Liga last season, netting 21 goals in 33 games to finish fifth in the top goalscorer chart.

Karanka is said to see the 31-year-old as a good fit for his Forest side as he plots a promotion push for next season.

Stuani netted 15 times in 68 games for Boro under Karanka.
