Respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has claimed that Victor Valdes has agreed a deal with Middlesbrough.
The 34-year-old joined Manchester United in January 2015, but only made two first-team appearances for the Red Devils before joining Standard Liege on loan for the 2015-16 campaign.
The former Barcelona stopper was released by Man United earlier this month and according to Balague, the Spaniard will undergo a medical with Middlesbrough on Thursday afternoon after agreeing personal terms.
