Team News: Three debutants for Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough field three debutants in the shape of Tomas Meijas, Kike and Lee Tomlin for their Championship opener against Birmingham City.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has fielded three debutants for their opening fixture of the Championship season against Birmingham City.

Goalkeeper Tomas Meijas, Kike and Lee Tomlin all make their bows, while on-loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo is named on the bench.

Meanwhile David Edgar, Jonathan Grounds and Stephen Gleeson are all named in the visitors' starting lineup by manager Lee Clark.
