Half-Time Report: Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers goalless

Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers go into the break with the scores level in their Championship game this afternoon.

Middlesbrough started brightly, with Muzzy Carayol and Nate Chalobah forcing two good saves from Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson early on.

The dangerous George Friend then came close when he cut in from the left flank but fired just wide.

Indeed, most of Middlesbrough's play came down the left flank, with Friend and Carayol linking up well during the half.
