Rojo handed Manchester United lifeline?

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly prepared to reconsider his stance over Marcos Rojo.

Having allowed the Argentina international to represent Estudiantes on a temporary basis, it appeared that the left-sided player had taken part in his last game for United.

The 30-year-old was also not shy in acknowledging his disappointment when having his spell back at his former club disrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, ESPN claims that Rojo has channelled his frustration into making a positive impact during pre-season training.

While the 30-year-old remains likely to leave Old Trafford, Solskjaer has been left impressed by the fringe player's attitude since returning to the squad.

Rojo has entered the final year of his contract, putting United in a position where they need to find a buyer or contemplate handing him a contract extension.
