Manchester United reportedly list seven fringe players for transfer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans a major overhaul of his squad for the 2021-22 campaign.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to do away with up to seven players in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are expected to reignite their pursuit of Jadon Sancho this summer, while a long-term centre-back partner for Harry Maguire is also believed to be on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's wishlist.

However, United would undoubtedly have to sell before they can buy, but the club have reportedly identified a number of fringe players whose sales could help finance a major overhaul for the 2021-22 campaign.

According to The Mirror, Jesse Lingard, Donny van de Beek, Phil Jones, Diogo Dalot, Andreas Pereira, Tahith Chong and Brandon Williams could all face the axe this summer.

The report also indicates that the quartet of Edinson Cavani, Juan Mata, Sergio Romero and Lee Grant could all be heading elsewhere when their contracts expire in less than three months' time, so no fewer than 11 players may be plying their trade at Old Trafford for the final time this season.

Paul Pogba's future at the club also continues to be a major talking point, and a recent report claimed that the midfielder is almost certain to leave the club this year.
