Leicester City are reportedly close to agreeing a new long-term contract with midfielder James Maddison.
Since the Foxes paid £22.5m for his signature in 2018, Maddison has contributed 13 goals from 60 outings in the Premier League, leading to strong interest in his signature.
Despite the playmaker's valuation now said to be in the region of £80m, Manchester United are allegedly prepared to make a big-money approach for the playmaker in the summer.
However, The Telegraph claims that the 23-year-old is in advanced discussions with Leicester over a new deal at the King Power Stadium.
While Maddison is already tied to the East Midlands outfit until 2023, both parties may see the benefit of agreeing fresh terms in order to put an end to frequent speculation regarding the player's future.
