Federico Macheda to remain at Manchester United

Manchester United striker Federico Macheda is expected to stay with the former Premier League champions, according to his agent Giovanni Bia.

The Italian frontman has had a question mark over his future at Old Trafford since his loan spell at Queens Park Rangers failed after suffering a long-term injury.

"I believe that Federico will remain with Manchester United," Bia told Radio Calciomercato.

Reports recently emerged claiming that the 20-year-old was wanted by Turkish outfit Besiktas on a temporary basis.
