Phil Jones, Chris Smalling head for Manchester United exit?

Manchester United reportedly delay offering new contracts to Phil Jones and Chris Smalling.

Phil Jones and Chris Smalling could leave Manchester United as the club have reportedly yet to open contract negotiations with the pair.

According to the Daily Mail, United are relaxed about the England duo's situation, despite their existing deals running out at the end of next season.

Both Jones and Smalling have earned rave reviews for their performances against Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in recent weeks, but have not been rewarded with contract extensions.

Fellow Red Devils stars David de Gea, Ashley Young and Robin van Persie will also see their deals expire in the summer of 2016.

United are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
