Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has reportedly been seen boarding a plane to Frankfurt, leading to speculation that he could be on his way out of Old Trafford.

The Bulgarian has been linked with a move back to former club Bayer Leverkusen, according to Sky Sports News.

Bayern Munich are also thought to be interested in the former Tottenham Hotspur forward.

However, the 30-year-old's agent has played down talk of a switch.

Berbatov has found himself on the margins of the United first-team this season, despite finishing as the league's top scorer during the last campaign.
