Atletico Madrid, Valencia want Juan Mata?

A report claims that Atletico Madrid and Valencia are preparing January moves for Manchester United attacker Juan Mata.

Atletico Madrid and Valencia are both reportedly preparing January moves for Manchester United attacker Juan Mata.

The Spaniard, who arrived at Old Trafford from Chelsea in the January window, has scored seven times in 18 games since making the move to United.

However, it is understood that the 26-year-old could miss out on a spot in the team following the arrivals of Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao this month.

According to reports in Spain, Atletico and Mata's former club Valencia both want to bring the attacker back to La Liga.

Juventus have also been linked with a move.
