Antonio Valencia: 'Manchester United confident over Champions League progression'

Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia says that his teammates are full of confidence when it comes to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Antonio Valencia has revealed that Manchester United will go into the knockout stages of the Champions League with full of confidence.

Yesterday's draw paired the three-time winners with Greek side Olympiacos for a place in the quarter-finals of the competition.

"If we can do our job and get a good result over there, then we always feel confident at Old Trafford," he told the club's official website.

"We'll take a lot of confidence from our performances in the Champions League so far this season.

"We qualified as group winners with a good points tally so confidence has been very high in the competition."

United have won each of the four matches that they have previously played against Olympiacos.
