Preview: Southampton vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole looks ahead to Manchester City's trip to Southampton on Saturday.

Southampton will be hoping to turn around their recent run of poor form when they host Manchester City on Saturday.

The Saints lost their third league match in succession on Wednesday evening when they went down 3-2 to Aston Villa at St Mary's.

City have moved up to third in the Premier League table following a run of three wins in a row, the latest coming at West Bromwich Albion in midweek.

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino could decide to hand a start to Pablo Osvaldo after the Italian striker came off the bench to score against Villa.

Saints goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga is expected to retain his place in the side due to Artur Boruc's broken hand.

Manuel Pellegrini may be tempted to name the same City XI that saw off West Brom, which would see Edin Dzeko start up front alongside Sergio Aguero.
