Macclesfield Town complete Neill Byrne signing

National League side Macclesfield Town have completed the signing of Neill Byrne from AFC Telford on a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old is available for today's pre-season encounter with Kidsgrove Athletic.

Byrne, who has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at Under-19 level, began his career at Nottingham Forest before joining Rochdale, where he was loaned out to Southport and Barrow.

The defender made 79 league appearances in his two-year spell with Telford.
