Lorient thrash 10-man Evian TG

Lorient have pulled further clear of the Ligue 1 relegation zone thanks to a 4-0 victory over Evian TG.

Young striker Vincent Aboubakar opened the scoring for the visitors in the seventh minute and doubled the lead from a tight angle following Yann Jouffre's free kick into the box.

Les Roses' task was made harder in the 58th minute, as Fabrice Ehret was shown a red card for a foul on Bruno Ecuele Manga, which left the defender requiring treatment.

Abdoulaye Sadio Diallo put the game beyond doubt in the 81st minute, before Jouffre wrapped up the scoring from the penalty spot three minutes from time.

The result sees Christian Gourcuff's men four points clear of Valenciennes, while Evian are now six points from the danger zone.
