Stuart Pearce hints at David Beckham Olympics place

Team GB coach Stuart Pearce has admitted that he is considering David Beckham for next year's Olympics squad.

Beckham, 36, would be eligible for the competition as teams are allowed to include three players over the age of 23.

When asked if he might take the midfielder to the Games, Pearce said: "He's certainly on a long list of people, yes."

Beckham recently won the MLS title in his fifth season with Los Angeles Galaxy.
