Liverpool are reportedly considering making a fresh bid for Barcelona's David Villa.

Liverpool have reportedly renewed their interest in Barcelona striker David Villa.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers failed in his attempt to bring the Spaniard on loan in January, but is looking to boost his striking options following Luis Suarez's 10-match ban.

Villa, 31, has struggled to hold down first-team football at Barcelona this season and could fall further down the pecking order should the club secure the services of Neymar, according to The Mirror.

Liverpool could face competition for Villa's signature from several other clubs, including Juventus and Arsenal.
