Liverpool will reportedly make a bid for Victor Moses should they fail to secure the services of Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The Reds face stiff competition for the Hoffenheim midfielder from Tottenham Hotspur, who are offering higher wages to lure him to White Hart Lane.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will turn his attention to Wigan Athletic's highly-rated winger Moses should he fail to secure the services of the Iceland international, The Sun reports.

Wigan recently rejected a a £4m bid from Chelsea for the player, with club owner Dave Whelan insisting that he expects twice that sum.
