Liverpool consider Jermain Defoe bid

Liverpool will reportedly test Tottenham Hotspur's resolve with a £10m bid for Jermain Defoe.

The striker's agent recently claimed that he was unhappy at a lack of first-team opportunities at White Hart Lane.

Kenny Dalglish has identitifed the England international as someone who could provide a much-needed threat in front of goal for the Reds, according to The Mirror.

Defoe has scored seven times in 15 league matches for Spurs this season.
