Daniel Sturridge will once again start on the bench for Liverpool, who take on West Ham United at Anfield.

Daniel Sturridge has failed to regain his place in the Liverpool starting lineup for this afternoon's home clash against West Ham United in the Premier League.

As a result, Luis Suarez will continue as a lone striker, while Philippe Coutinho will offer the support from an advanced midfield role.

Meanwhile, visiting West Ham are without Andy Carroll, who cannot play under the terms of his loan switch from the Reds.

Carlton Cole will lead the attack in his place, with Ricardo Vaz Te also included.

Liverpool: Reina; Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Enrique; Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Downing, Coutinho; Suarez

West Ham: Jaaskelainen; Demel, O'Brien, Tomkins, Collins; Diame, O'Neill, Nolan, Jarvis, Vaz Te; Cole
