Brad Smith: 'Australia debut was a dream come true'

Liverpool prospect Brad Smith reveals his delight after making his "dream" debut for Australia.

Liverpool prospect Brad Smith has said that making his debut for Australia was a "dream come true", despite losing 2-0 to Belgium.

Smith, currently on loan at Swindon Town, has represented England at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level but was born in Penrith, Australia.

The defender came on for the Socceroos in the 72nd minute, replacing former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill.

Smith joined Liverpool at the age of 14 after moving to England.
