Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has said that finishing high in the Premier League must be his top priority this season.
The Reds will play against Belarusian minnows FC Gomel in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Northern Irishman said that he would like to do well in the competition, but stressed that domestic success must come first.
"I don't want to disrespect the Europa League, but there's no doubt the league is our priority and we want to finish as high as we possibly can," Rodgers told the club's official website.
"The Europa League is a competition we'd like to do well in. Obviously to do well in it you've got to play a lot of games and hopefully that will be the case.
"When you play for Liverpool every tournament and every game is a priority."
The first leg will be played at the Central Stadion in Belarus.
