Jordan Henderson "not worried" about new Liverpool contract

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson outlines his intention to stay at the club for "many years" amid reports that he is due to sign a new contract.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has insisted that he is "not worried" about signing a new deal with the club.

The Reds' vice-captain has less than two years left on his current deal and is reportedly in line for a new contract having become an important member of Brendan Rodgers's side.

However, the 24-year-old is happy to leave the discussions to his agent and outlined his intention to stay at Anfield for "many years".

"I am just concentrating on playing football. I am not worried about that," Henderson told reporters.

"I am enjoying my football, I love this club and I want to be here for many years so that shouldn't be an issue. I'll let my agent sort that out, it's nothing to do with me."

Henderson, who is currently on international duty with England, scored the winning goal for Liverpool during the 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
