Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson is aiming for a return to first-team action when the Reds take on Norwich City this weekend.
The England international, who featured in Liverpool's 1-0 loss to Rangers in a friendly at Ibrox last night, believes that he is over the worst of his injury.
"It was just fantastic to be back playing again," Johnson told the club's official website.
"Obviously I've been a long time out and it's been a hard few months for me but fingers crossed I'm over all that now.
"I want to push on from this and we all want to get three points against Norwich."
Liverpool host Norwich at Anfield in the Premier League's evening kick-off on Saturday.
