Jamie Carragher praises Liverpool's ability to bounce back

Carragher hails Liverpool "DNA"

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes that "not all clubs" have the Reds' ability to launch a comeback and clinch victory in 'big games'.

Kenny Dalglish's side looked likely to relinquish a spot in the FA Cup final after going 1-0 down to Everton in the first half of the semi-final at Wembley on Saturday, but goals from Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll awarded victory to the red half of Merseyside.

"It's a great thing for our character, but that's something in our DNA. Liverpool seem to have that," the Express quotes Carragher as saying. "I can always remember it, even as a kid, and I just said to Stevie Gerrard, 'How often have we done that? It's not going our way and we find a way to win.'

"We put our supporters through it in every big game, but there is something from within which not all clubs have. I can't put my finger on what it is, but I'm delighted we've got it."

Liverpool will face Chelsea in the final of the domestic competition following the Blues' controversial 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.
