Leicester City hold Gokhan Inler talks?

Leicester City are reportedly still hopeful of signing Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler before the transfer window closes.

The Switzerland international is thought to have already rejected one approach from the Foxes this summer.

According to Sky Sport Italia, City boss Claudio Ranieri has now held further talks with the 31-year-old's agent, though they face rumoured competition from Schalke 04 and Besiktas.

Inler, who is said to be seen as an ideal option to fill the void left by Esteban Cambiasso at the King Power Stadium, is valued in the region of £3m.
