Leicester lineup vs. Wolves: Predicted XI for Premier League clash including major Jamie Vardy call

No Vardy, no party? Predicted Leicester XI vs. Wolves

Leicester City veteran Jamie Vardy may be at risk of the chop when the Foxes travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers for Saturday's Premier League showdown.

The former England international - who has just announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season - put in another ineffective performance in last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Liverpool, a result that officially condemned Ruud van Nistelrooy's men to relegation.

Vardy subsequently let rip in an X-rated social media message, and while that should not cause him to be demoted, a 10-game run without a goal or assist in the Premier League just might - plus, a substitute introduction would lead to the massive cheer from the away end that he deserves ahead of his exit.

Van Nistelrooy can swap out the 38-year-old for the more youthful Patson Daka if he sees fit, while 15-year-old Jeremy Monga is aiming to become the youngest player to ever start a Premier League game.

However, the returning Kasey McAteer and Jordan Ayew are more likely to start on the flanks in place of Bobby Decordova-Reid and the injured Stephy Mavididi, with the ever-present Bilal El Khannouss in the middle.

As Harry Winks is out of the first-team picture due to a falling-out with Van Nistelrooy, Boubakary Soumare and Wilfred Ndidi are primed to pair up again, probably in front of an unaltered backline.

The quartet of Luke Thomas, Wout Faes, Ricardo Pereira and ex-Wolves man Conor Coady all did their bit to largely keep Liverpool at bay, and none of them should be axed for this one.

Leicester City possible starting lineup: Hermansen; Pereira, Coady, Faes, Thomas; Ndidi, Soumare; Ayew, El Khannouss, Mavididi; Daka
